Looks like the fine folks at Google have decided for us what we can and can not view.

About 5-days ago, Google removed the options in the US, to select from "Strict"' "Moderate" and "safe search off".

Now the default is "moderate" and you can no longer turn off safe search.

Go ahead and try any number of tag words, and try and see what you can not see mad.gif

Censorship fail cop.gif

"Bye Bye Google, Hello Yahoo"......................

Like this?

Selecting "Filter Explicit results" and unchecking the box, (even though it does not say so), you are now set at the "Moderate" setting from the old options you used to be able to have. (Read the link i posted)

Here is the way it used to look

Type in the word "porn" for example, in google image, then compare the results by doing the same in Yahoo images.

Not true. Uncheck "filter explicit results" and search for "nude porn". It's simply more accurate now. You have to tell it that you're looking for nudity, basically. Type in gangbang and see what comes up icon_lol.gif

Yeah I've seen articles all over the internet about how they are now censoring results. It's sensationalist crap. Google is just trying to make sure that people who don't want porn don't get porn accidentally.

It's about time...

my granddaughter likes to print off colouring-in pages she downloads from the net...

fortunately i was here wih her when she did it, but she started to type twinkle star but she stopped at twink and hit the search key.

Now we have to type in what she wants and ask her to leave the room before we hit search.

Though as Joe pointed out, it still works, you just gotta ask for nudes now. Amy Smart nudes = wonderful results on a Saturday morning.
