Members Kerouac
Sounds great so far. Super simple controls, but it's perfect with Guitar Rig and it handles my 8-string a lot better than my '63 Skylark. Also tried my Godin 5th Ave Kingpin and it was a great, simple tone. Members AXEL276
The possibilities with that amp are endless. I use mine stacked with my Trademark 60 but I've used it with a PODXT, Sansamp preamp and keyboards. I've also used it with some small 5 watt amps, my VOX DF4 and Blackstar HT5. Best of luck with it! Members Kerouac
I picked this one up used for about $150 cheaper than a new one and I can't find a mark on it. It looks just like a new one.

Members mamberg
so is the 1/4" input set up or switchable for Hi-Z inputs (guitar)?? or is it intended for line level only?

Members tech21man
It is for line level mostly. The master volume allows you to match most of the preamps you put in. Beware not to use it simultaneously with the XLR in though! I've also used mine with modellers, with normal preamps with everything I could throw at it and it was really good. You can also use it as an extension for a smaller wattage amp as mentioned.

Members danut
I've used a pair, in stereo, for years. Over 150 gigs, lots of rehearsals, studio sessions as well. I used it with either a SansAmp preamp or a tube preamp. Very good tone, cuts well in a mix, reliable. Although SS, the more you crank it, the better it sounds. I also used it with an electro-acoustic guitar, with good results, but I had to use a 31 band rack EQ prior to it. The only downside: being an open-back combo design, it doesn't have the thump and balls of a closed back 4x12". The high gain simulations of any modeler will lack some realism, especially live. Also, important to know, for live usage: it sounds better mic'ed than with the XLR-out direct to the PA. Here's a bunch of low resolution clips (raw tracks from my latest studio work):http://www.tonefinder.com/files/5113...zsnnhzr_07.mp3http://www.tonefinder.com/files/2913...zsnnhzr_25.mp3http://www.tonefinder.com/files/6113...zsnnhzr_05.mp3http://www.tonefinder.com/files/3135...0snhser_46.mp3http://www.tonefinder.com/files/1913...nheiser_35.mp3
