Harmony Central has “soft launched” our new mobile experience this past week. While we have done extensive testing, we know that with a community as large as HC that there will be items that surface that will still need to be addressed.   • Tried out a Peavey 6505. Loved it!!

    1x12. I think I finally found an amp that I could enjoy for a very long time.



    I've never cared about an amp's "clean" channel. I figure what's the point of having a super-clean channel when I'm just gonna try to dirty it up anyway.



    Loved that overdrive sound. Nice price, too. I want the 2x12.

    I think I want the 1x12 for home use. I love my 6505+ amp head and would love to recreate that sound at low volumes at home.

        I had a go with the new Budda amps now built by Peavey, and I thought that they sounded much better than pre-Peavey Buddas. I used to own an SD-18 combo. Divine amp, but the Peavey version has a much more dense midrange and bottom end, less fizzy top end.

                        I too love my 6505+ into my Mesa cab. Unfortunately I don't play live at the moment so I'm finding less and less use for it. For recording I can get equally great sounds by running amp sims.

                            i tried this amp long ago in the store in 2007. its like the 5150 but darker sounding.
