Members satannica
I have a 4 year old JVM410H - something's gone down inside the head. The footswitch displays no lights and doesn't switch channels. Long story short: I tried a different cable, tried a different footswitch. Both footswitches don't work with my head, both footswitches and cables work in every combination perfectly fine with my friend's JVM410H. It's out of warranty, so before I shell out money on getting Marshall to look at it, anyone know if there's anything simple I can check out first? Members hcprimerib
If you've verified that the FS and cable are good with another head, then the problem is obviously "on board". You need to take it in for service

Members AXEL276
Have you checked in at the JVM forum? A lot of good info/experience available there.http://jvmforum.com/phpBB3/index.php
Members dxxcel
Before taking it in I would try reseting to factory settings. Check the manual or the jvm forum.
Members satannica
Well, blow me down. An amp that has a factory reset. Well twiddle my nipples, it did the trick. Cheers guys! I never knew there was a JM forum. Most useful!
Members OverdrivenEL34s
i own a jvm215c (1x12 combo). so jvm amps can somehow get corrupted so functions wouldn't work but a factory reset fixes it? design flaw/defect? anyway, glad to hear it was simple enough to fix. Members satannica
Sadly, it's re-broken again :S Same as yesterday. I've factory reset it again, but it seems if I leave it a few hours it dies again.
