  • Amps and Auxiliary Units

Hey i have a Fender Hot Rod Deville and i read the manual and i can use the preamp out on a separate unit and connect that to the preamp in on my deville. Is that only exclusive to hot rod amps? Or can i preamp out from a Fender Blues Deville or Twin Reverb? Thanks.

The preamp out/power amp in is the same thing as an effects loop. Every amp with an effects loop will function this way, Fender just labeled it differently on these amps for whatever reason.
