Members groovy13
Ao I follow up one of my last posts with another question. What material should I use to insulate a cabinet?
Members lz4005
Either thin fiberglass insulation from a hardware store or foam padding from a fabric or upholstry store. Half inch or so thick. Staple it to the inside of the cab. Make sure the edges and corners are tacked down so they don't flap.
Members Mr.Grumpy
I used polyester fiberfill from walmart. It's sold in the sewing section, it's used to make quilts and stuff. It's not itchy like fiberglass.

Truth is, you can pad a cab with almost anything that won't fall apart too easily. Different materials will dampen the cab in varying amounts.
