I'd actually buy one of those.

I bet that fret board feels weird though. Probably a lot like that ebonol stuff on that one Squier Jazz bass.

Actually, it didn't feel bad at all. The LEDS are place on the body side of each fret so you don't even feel them at all.

That thing was making me play runs that I would have never thought of on my own. :thu:

They've been making them for almost 15 years now, I remember seeing them in all the guitar magazines back when I was in middle school. I really wanted one back then.

Really?

I never saw them until now.

Anyway, that has got to be an AWESOME earning tool.

i had 2 of them.

they were garbage.

you needed a bloody ac adapter for the guitar!

not only that, but it was a junk guitar with some cool lights in it.

the build quality was on par with those $99 squiers....probably worse.

The one I played last night was fine. The dude has had it for about 5 or 6 years and said he hasn't had any problems with it.

Was it an AMAZING feeling guitar? No. But the whole point of it is to teach your fingers the notes of scales, learn new chords etc.

I'd consider this one more of a learning tool. ;):cop:

Can you really ever have TOO MANY guitars? I think not.

More than 15 years. They came out in the 80s, disappeared, and came back. There were knobs on the guitar to select keys and chords, and the LEDs would light up.

In that case that is EXACTLY what I would do with one! For that reason alone!!
:p

You sir...are fucking MeTaL!!!

Actually, the only ones who would know what the lights were for would be other guitarists. I was with my drummer last night and he kept asking what the lights meant. The average show goer would just think it was a cool stage effect.
