I'm going to buy some new speaker cables and 3 footers will do me just fine for my current application. but I was gonna buy some nice cables so I want to do it right the first time around. As I said 3 footers will do me just fine but I was thinking of going ahead and getting 6 footers just because you never know... you might need a longer cable for whatever reason. My main question is... will there be any down side to 6 footers? I plan on getting 10awg cables so power transfer won't really be an issue. Is there ever a reason anyone needs a 6 foot cable? Pros?
