I think the speakers have really broken in finally after the best part of a year, man do they sound sweet. And I've got my ideal blend of warmth and clarity with some nos Brimars and JJ power tubes. The Top Boost channel is clear but thick, love it to bits! Played clean it feels like the notes are crystalising round my head, boosted it becomes a rich, chimey crunch machine. I miss my Vox alot, but there's so much I haven't tried that I'm not worried about getting something completely different. I'll still sound like me.
