Mine is broke and I don't think the cost of repairing it will be worth it so I am looking in to a new amp. I don't want to buy the same amp, even though I liked it just fine, so I am looking for a push in the right direction of something similar to it but higher quality. I want a really soild metal distortion and no effects built in as I have a pedal board for all my effects. Any thoughts are welcomed.

What do you think is wrong with your amp? How much do you think it will cost to fix it?

The problem with tube amps is it has tubes in it. Sometimes they go bad, sometimes when they go bad they take out something else. I've replaced lots of Grid Resistors that failed when a power tube shorted. Maybe try checking them out.

Fender Twin Reverb.

VK's are known for shorted flyback diodes. Is the unit Dead?

If any of those diodes on the output tube board are shorted, you have problems. Sometimes its just the diodes, other times the diodes go when the tubes fail.

Try a used Mesa DC5. Might be in your ballpark
