Members mikemurphy_mmb
Hey guys any suggestions would be awesome.Currently in my band our setup is a follows I play rhythm electric and I'm running a Gibson 335 through a Mesa TA15 and 212 cab with a Celstion Vintage 30 and a Celestion Hellatone Our lead rhythm player runs an American Tele through a Peavey Classic 30 And our lead player plays an American Standard Strat through a Deluxe Reverb Here is my question, our lead player wants to get a new head/cab/amp setup that won't just blend into our tones and get lost but he also wants it to sound right in the overall sound. What would you guys recommend that would be a good tone fit for what we currently have ??looking in the $1000 range total for either a head/cab setuo or a combo Thanks

Do you just tap on the guitar or something He's the leading rhythm player? If you're going to be a rhtyhm player, you gotta be the LEAD rhythm, right? But seriously...I've always thought it was weird "I'm the lead player", "I'm the rhythm player". Always thought you should be the guitar player...or A guitar player. Used to see something around here about "{censored} rhythm play leads" lol.

Members Krank'N
After mixing the 335 and the tele it doesnt leave a lot of sonic room for a strat! Roll some of the highs off the tele and cut some mids off the 335 . Maybe the strat guy could run an eq/boost in his fx loop and switch it in and out for leads.
