Something in the mids of the 5150 has always bugged me. And I also dont like how if you turn down the resonance, it sounds pretty weak. Without that knob, it just dont sound right. Its like the Mark III without the graphic

But, I have had that amp for 7-8 years, so its not like I dont like it.

It rained some here today, so it melted a lot of the snow on the ground. It is still all white here though....

Shask, I have some Charvel neck numbers for you:

                        19.5mm at the 1st fret

                        21mm at the 12th fret

It's like a C shaped Wizard-2, basically. Almost as thin, but different feel.

I am not sure if I would like that or not. Just for comparison:

                          ESP:

                          Thin U: 1st:20mm / 12th:22mm

I am not sure how much I believe that though, because my MH and Viper are both supposed to have the Thin U neck, and the are obviously different...

                          Now, on the other hand:

                          Thin Flat: 1st:19.5mm / 12th: 21.5mm

The M series is supposed to have that neck. I didn't like the neck on the M-1000 I had. Too thin/flat.

Yeah, I don't think you'd like the Charvel's neck then. Probably be better off with a Warmoth partscaster.

I am not sure. I remember I used to describe the M-1000 as a "(" neck. Rounded, but a very large radius to the curve. The MH is more "C" like, but it is still way thinner than a MIM for example.

I don't know why Fender don't seem to make any Floyd guitars, or Hardtail guitars.
