Members yrral
ok i have a peavey trans tube combo (40 watt amp i think) i want to change to a 30 watt all tube amp . i play small clubs do not need a lot of power. the one thing i like about my current set up is i can get that warm distortion sustain that turns into useable feedback sustain that i then bend and wammy ect i want to upgrade to all tube but i dont want to lose that sustain at low volume will a all tube amp do that? my set up is ...fender strat plus with lace sensorspeavey trans tubekorg 1000 tone works pedal in front of the amp (do not use efx loop)i use the clean channel only eq flatmaster volume on 3 get sustain every time with my distortion setting on the korg actually i have had quite a few positive comments on my sound in view of the fact that the gear in many respects is cheap stuff but i think all tube would be better but i dont want to lose the usable feedback
Members Imthere
you can add some delay or reverb to increase feedback
Members thecakeguru
Yes.. with enough harmonically rich distortion, even at low volumes you'll be able to get that sweet feedback sustain...
