  • RIP Carvin Audio!!

Dang! Carvin is folding their tent, and having a going out of business sale!

I have a Carvin AG100D acoustic amp, and use a Carvin PA1200 powered mixer and 2 1584 speakers to produce indoor and outdoor concerts in our community center and outdoor stage in our park. Never a hiccup, and those 1584s are crisp!

F*** 'em if they can't take a joke!

Never owned any Carvin gear but it's always sad when a company bites the dust.

When the family feud forced the split between Carvin Audio and Kiesel Guitars, sooner or later one was bound to go under...but I'm surprised it was Carvin Audio.

Most of the stuff on their website appears to be sold out already.

I'm surprised too, DM. Why would a split with one side going into high end (probably) low margin guitars hurt the Audio side of the biz? I guess there is a lot of competition in audio gear now. You could get Carvin stuff through Amazon but MF and GC and Sweetwater didn't carry it.

That's a shame. I've enjoyed my AE 185, but I have other guitars I like more. I always felt like the SR end of the business offered more bang for the buck.

The Keisel guitar products aren't ending, just the audio electronics like amps and PAs.
