      My personal guitar of the year, finished the first week of October....

      Carved Western red cedar body...
      Neck hand carved from Douglas Fir...
      Cocobolo(Mexican rosewood) tailpiece and peghead overlay
      Indian rosewood FB, with a 24 3/4" scale
      Tall narrow fretwire
      Gotoh machines
      Custom made Kent Armstrong mag pickup
      (ceramic magnets, wound to 8.0k)
      Piezo bridge
      Special "MagPi" passive circuit
      Clear satin finish

      Only because I designed it myself...pretty much has all of the ideas from the first 40 instruments distilled down to this one...it works GREAT....

          Dave, as much of a Carvin nut as I am, I was going to give you the nod as well... That's the truth! For acoustics, I'd have to go with the Carvin C980 simply because of its immense value... I'd still love to play an Olsen though... Boggs
