  • Post pics of your favorite piece of artwork

Post a pic of your favorite artwork...drawing, painting, photo. Here's a pic of my fav...

It is by A. B. Frost. It is titled "Music For The Dance". I first saw it about 9 years ago hanging in a friends house. This piece reminds me of the many drives I've made early in the morning's after gigs. These 4 minstrals seem to be talking about the gig they just played and recounting how the evening went.

There have been many gig nights after the gear has been packed that we will grab a drink and talk about the weekend and how the shows went. It has been during these times when we have laughed the most and have tightened up our friendships.

    Let's see your favorites.....

I like this one too because whenever praise and prayer touch, there is fire:

A bit self-serving perhaps, but I painted this years ago and sold it. I think it may be the kitten reacting to the little, dark, fuzzy "thing" behind the chair leg, but It's just about my favourite "Musical" art. I need to do more like this, but for some reason I haven't. Go figure.

                        Steverino,

The Dinosaur with the guitar painting is watercolor, as is all of the color "Fairy" subjects. The "cartoony" cowboy bird sitting on the mushroom playing the guitar is airbrush and color pencil, as is the two mice on the pink scooter.

That darn Boris sure knows how to paint a girl, I believe.

Athough I don't have one, and I can't even recall his name.

But I like the dude that paints the pictures of Whales and things. His artwork has been on a few tv shows, showing him painting. People think that they are pictures, but are really painted pictures.

                          His name is??

I couldn't find the whole picture but this is one of my favorites

One thing about Munch, he painted emotions, deep human emotions. Most other artists stay in much safer waters and paint moods.

It's safer that way cause when you paint real deep emotions it will show so clearly when you fail... this is one of the times he didn't fail.

Also, there's something raw about Edvard Munch's paintings. He never looks away when it gets scary.
