Just because you can doesn't mean you should - looks nice, though!

When you gonna get some carbon fiber?

That's what I'm wondering, too, after the strings go on-is there an invisible truss rod?

really, really nice work, though- I'm thinking you could make some plexi simulated pickups, knobs, etc and sell it to a collector, a store, or even Fender. It's a beuatiful piece of art even if it doesn't play. And if it does play, all the better.

I was playing it last night, the neck was a little boingy, I'll put a truss rod in it

you need to get clear wire...

so, obviously this is a no frills (like pots, switches...wait...where is the jackplate?)

                    Another Scatter Lee original... :thu:
                    ...is that lucite or plexiglas?

it's plexi, not decided on every detail yet, was going to use this piezo and a clear bridge

and a clear fake pickup, but still got some book learnin to do on preamps, maybe some other time

then went with the homemade pickup and fender bridge, i like it better, still some holes to drill

maybe a neck pickup too, bridge is twangy but kinda bright :idk:

well, bridge p-ups are supposed to be twangy and bright...
I like the piezo idea, though; maybe it is sensitive enough to go at the neck position and sense body vibrations?
Oh, and what about the string trees?

string tree, still working on the piezo deal

                            it's ready to play
