    Just when do you ever need the *best* or the *worst*, nothing inbetween. Bleh and meh, that's where Life's sweet-spot resides. Plain vanilla? My god, have you tasted it? It's mind-bending meh.

    I agree that dwelling in the extremes is hazardous. It seems necessary, though, that there be the occasional foray toward the edges in order to truly appreciate your center in the middle ground. I suppose it has a lot to do with where you draw those lines. YMMV.

    The middle ground has all of the elements. The extremes are limited by their very nature. Revel in the abundance, avoid unpainted corners - they killed Kurt Cobain (I kid, I kid).

    Stagnate, it's the one space at the moment for creativity - everyone else is hanging out at the poles, and man that gets o-ld.

    How can you truly appreciate the without any ? While the middle is a fine place, I wouldn't want to stagnate there.
