I hope everyone is ready for this!

The emoticons are already "G" rated!

No offense intended, but (see above) . . .

    Old is the new new.

it is pretty simple, really...expletives should be masked or edited before posting...I don't know yet if I will still be able to say 8U11$#!+ anymore...probably not...but I know this really shouldn't be an issue for reasonable adults.  This hasn't been a big issue here in the past, and shouldn't be now.  Now some of the other forums...we shall see. We had a fairly lengthy discussion regarding this in the Office, and basically the PTB want to broaden the appeal of the site.  Embrace the change, it is inevitable.

"We are currently experiencing some technical difficulties due to reality fluctuations. The elves are working tirelessly to patch the correct version of reality. Activities here have been temporarily disabled since the fundamentals of mathematics, physics and reason may be incomprehensible during this indeterminate period of instability. Normal service will be restored once we are certain as to what 'normal' is."

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally used up and worn out, shouting '...man, what a ride!'

I don't think it will be an issue here, unless some of our long lost and still salty brethren show up all unawares like.

And the really degen forums will be opt-in and otherwise unmitigated.

Good luck with that. Prohibition is usually the best way to change behaviour if history is any guide. I never swear here, but this makes me want to say phuk this $hit...
