    Pretty Smooth Here In Cali,

    But We Do Get Hot Too.

    Right Now It's About 73 - 74 Degress Out

    Los Angeles;

    Low clouds and fog in the morning then sunny...except some low clouds lingering near the beaches through the afternoon. Highs from around 70 at the beaches to the lower 80s inland. Southwest winds around 15 mph in the afternoon.

        oddly, we (Los Angeles) are once again having a fairly mild summer... alot of marine influence (not from Pendleton) which keeps the high pressure out, and is likely pushing it inland over the Rockies...spoke with one of our vendors yesterday in Chicago...she was dying form the humidity and heat...when I told her it was around 80F here, she didn't believe me...'you guys are always around 105 this time of year!' she told me...and ordinarily, she would be right.

              But it's not the heat. It's the humidity.

                    You are LUCKY. I'm originally from SF, where it's 65 degrees year round. But here in Florida our highs are in the high 90's, which, combined with the 70%-ish humidity, is absolutely miserable. I played a show a few weeks ago in a venue with no air conditioning. Our lead guitarist sweated so much it looked like he'd peed himself!

                        I went to teh motorcycle races this weekend and was just dripping like a bad faucet. YOu can really dehydrate fast if you drink any alcohol / and or caffine My tee shirt was like soakin wet. I was like 97 and 75% humidity ... but at least we had a constant breeze which helped a lot.
