Hey, cool man!!!

I had a look at a bit of the first tutorial. Looking good! I like your manner. It's conversationalist but not useless-ly casual, you know?

One thing - you're looking at yourself on the screen when you're talking I think, and not RIGHT at the camera. I do this all the time when on my webcam. ALL the time. It's easier to look at myself talking cause it's like I'm talking to myself...sort of...as opposed to looking at a tiny black camera thing. Blegh.

Cool vids, bro. I checked out both videos. I'm really looking forward to seeing more.

Btw, if you're open for suggestions, I thought the intro music was really loud compared to your dialogue, maybe you balance it up next time?

And I really looking forward to watching your bridging passaggio video! :D

@ YeahDoIt - If your throat hurts, stop! You might get a slight tickle when starting out, but it shouldn't hurt. Its all a out placement. I'm gonna try and do the passagio vid this weekend.

@ Jugulator - for some reason when I read your reply, I hear Ivan Drago's voice from Rocky in my head, lol. But to answer your question, any kind of extreme singing...screaming, grit, etc, can be damaging to an extent. Especially screaming, but when done with the right technique and used in moderation can be done safely, IMO. The scream isn't coming from the throat...pretty much just a vocal fry with a lot of support. If the support ain't there, that's when it can become dangerous. I've found that this hasn't affected my clean voice at all. I can go from say a Manson tune to a Third Eye Blind song in a set and have no issues. Kind of a drastic change, but it's fun slammin the audience with Manson and cutting right into Semi-Charmed Life, haha.

Honestly, I'm a little disappointed. I thought there would be a video describing your technique of picking up chicks by showing them your in-ear monitors. You know, what sort of dialogue you use, the typical reaction you get when you actually show them the IEMs after the lead-up, and whether girls generally prefer Shure or another brand. And of course, how you transition from IEMs to the bedroom.

That, my friend, would be a useful video.

I have nothing to add, so I'll just echo some of the things already said:

Try to talk to the camera lens rather than the computer screen. It becomes a lot easier to pay attention to what you're saying that way.

Intro music very loud in comparison to monologue volume. A bit unnecessary.

I seriously dig the general attitude you seem to have though. Cutting the crap and bull{censored}, and focusing on getting the message out, without asking for anything in return.

Oh, and when you actually scream, the volume is extremely loud. See if you can use some amplitude modulation software for those specific parts.

:-)

Keep it up, brah.

EDIT: If it's not too much to keep in your head, try focusing on avoiding vocal fry when you're speaking. Articulation is a lot easier to pick up and comprehend when the tone is smooth. /edit
