Members cjpbarboza
if my vocal range star in a f3 and end in a E7 what is my type of voice ?
Members Masklin
E7 -----> any voice type F3 -----> high tenor, but technically a mezzo (since altos 'should' reach D3 or C3).

Members Masklin
If A4 is 440 Hz on your scale, then what I said is correct.

Moderators davie Posted May 21, 2011 Moderators Share Posted May 21, 2011 sorry i wrong, THE MIDDLE C IS C3 my vocal range full voice star in F2 and end in g4 i guess i am bass. I can hit C7 in whistle but was when i was younger Honestly.. there's no way to tell, especially without hearing those notes. And also no one uses total range as an indication for vocal type. You have to look at the passaggio notes instead. And just to confirm.. when you say F2, do you mean the bass low F?
Members cjpbarboza
ok the middle C is C4 the lower note i have reach is f3
Moderators davie Posted May 21, 2011 Moderators Share Posted May 21, 2011 So do you mean low F? or the F above low F? Because F3 isn't very low. I think most female voices can hit that note.
Members cjpbarboza
edit F ABOVE LOW F
Moderators davie Posted May 21, 2011 Moderators Share Posted May 21, 2011 edit F ABOVE LOW F That's not very low. Most tenors can sing C above Low F with no problem. I don't know what to say..

Moderators davie Posted May 21, 2011 Moderators Share Posted May 21, 2011 I also have a question.. What's the point in asking a question when you answer it yourself and ignore what others say?
Members cjpbarboza
i dont know im just saying what my teacher say i just asking if that is tru because i guess i am a bass but i guess i am a baritone too i dont i just confuse LOL
Members Masklin
If your chest register starts at F2 (about 90 Hz), you're (probably) a baritone. If your chest register stars at F3 (about 180 Hz), you're (probably) the male equivalent of a mezzo soprano (very very rare unless your balls were somehow lost before puberty).
