What's my vocal range

If your notation is correct:

E2 to C4

Meaning the lowest note is the E under low C, and the highest note is middle C.

Then you're probably a bass judging by your range, but the type of tone/timbre (eg. thick, light, metallic-sounding, warm, etc) should also be considered to categorize your voice correctly. We can't surely know without hearing you.

How could a top note of C4 make you a HIGH baritone? It's not baritone-like at all let alone a high baritone.

That's even low for a bass.

You haven't accessed your headvoice have you?

My guess is baritone and your toping out your chest voice on that C4. I'm the same.

Thanks guys for the replies i really apreciate it,

I can sing bono rather comfortably, i can also sing quite high chris cornell songs but i do feel like i have to give it so much power,

I wonder if i'm not mixing up the position on the keyboard of my scale ?

I really find it hard to find singers i can vocally relate to without having my voice into overdrive

I would really love to find good references to do some covers

Also my timbre is quite metallic,

With or without you by u2 is pretty much the full singable range of my voice

Any clearer?

Thanks

C

If you can sing along to Bono, C4 is not your upper limit.

You're probably mixing things up.

Check wikipedia for range categories, and remember that pop music is at least 95 % high barytones or tenors.

I'm thinking he means E3 to C5 (high C) if this is the case.

Though a male voice should be able to go lower than E3.

The lightest tenors should be able to sing a C3, which is a major third below E3.
