Members shredsmcgee
hello,my name is George, i'm a 19 year old very rookie male vocalist.I've noticed the very few times i've recorded my singing, I sound tired or like i'm reading and not really singing.Granted with this particular recording I had broken sleep the night before, accompanied by a brutal case of "Jaw lock" the following day (i.e. when i opened my mouth past a certain point my jaw would click or lock in place)so 2 part question:does lack of sleep really impact your vocals? or am i just using it as a poor excuse for my lack of singing ability?are there any ways I can correct the bored/tired sounding issue?(song is "a day in the life" by The Beatles, My vocals panned to the left with a little reverb + delay)any advice would be greatly appreciated!Thank you.https://soundcloud.com/bearwithme-1/a-day-in-the-life-bored/s-j1zpX
