Members sammy1
Singing for over 6 months now, mostly sing along to things haven't really tried excersises etc. , recorded this earlier only figured song out today and mic is too close to guitar so it's hard to hear voice but opinions on what to work on would be appreciated. After almost a year trying to sing i still dont feel like im making progress or even know what exactly my voice is or how to use it (if that makes sense?!?... thx
Members highmtn
Please put the mic nearer your mouth and further away from the guitar, so we can hear your voice over the guitar next time. I know you already mentioned that, but it only makes sense if you want people to actually hear your voice and make helpful suggestions. What I can hear is that you have decent pitch perception, and that you need to work on your breath support. Other than that, the detail is all covered up on the recording by the guitar. I think I hear the makings of a good voice underneath the guitar, but you are lacking training and need to build more consistency. Good luck to you. Members Chordptrn
Your voice is fine. I'd like to hear some smoothing out of the phrases so they flow better. There's some spots where it stumbles a bit.
