What I can hear that would make the biggest difference in your voice is that you could increase your breath support quite a bit. This would give you more consistency to your singing of sustained notes. You would gain more tone, as well. Increased support also helps to zero-in on pitch a bit, due to the consistency of the breath pressure. That said, there would be no loss to your authentic sound by increasing support. It would only serve to help you get your points across. I have to say, that I got a good word-picture of what it's like to be stuck at the Deguello hotel from listening to your song. Bob P.S. You're doing an authentic rendition, your voice fits the tune, the guitar work is fine... I think you would hear applause at the end of the tune, and someone would probably buy you a beer.
