Members bluesguy63
I know this song has been covered a zillion times but, just thought I'd give it a shot. How bad is it? https://soundcloud.com/bluesguy1963/wagon-wheel-cover
Members highmtn
It's a little bit pitchy. Mostly on the G's you are between an F# and a G. You sound more relaxed on "I ain't gonna be treated this-a-way". You're more on pitch in that one and comfortable. I enjoyed listening to you on that one. Lord, Lord at the end was a bit stray, pitch-wise. You're not that bad. You just need to practice and stretch your voice a bit so those notes will be a little easier for you. A little work on breath support would help you, too. All the Best! Bob
Members bluesguy63
highmtnI just tried this because some have said I should raise the key even though it might be uncomfortable. I like singing in the lower key...it sounds somewhat better, at least to my ears. Thanks for taking time to respond.
Members Sing Better In 3 Days
You have an awesome full voice full of MANLINESS! The one thing that would make this song a MILLION times better is if you connected your sentences a bit more. Example "Heading down south to the land of the pines (then connect it quickly) to the world "thumbing ...my way down to North Caroline." that should be all together. It will make more sense and make you sound even better in the process. Members VladM
I can hear that your crescendo de-crescendo is a little too extreme. If you were more subtle with it, it would be easier to hear all of the words clearly.
