Members MrClumzy
I find my singing voice is significantly deeper than my normal speaking voice. Is this a normal occurance for other singers also?
Moderators davie Posted October 28, 2014 Moderators Share Posted October 28, 2014 I think it can vary from person to person. It can also depend on the vocal colour that you're using. When I go for a classical sound, my singing voice is slightly deeper than my speaking voice. But when I go for a contemporary/pop sound then my singing voice has a similar deepness to my speaking voice. It mainly depends on the amount of acoustical space you use while singing compared to when speaking. Usually more space means a deeper, but also fuller/richer sound.
