Members Rattlesnake13
Hi everyone, I would like to ask you about the name of the vocal technique that Steven Tyler uses on high pitched notes to sound like black singers (such as James Brown) on songs like Train Kept on Rolling, Dream On (live), because I would like to know some more about it and eventually try and learn to use it. Janis Joplin uses that technique too on some of her songs (Cry Baby, Tell Mama, and Summertime for example). Here are some links to songs where you can hear it : (at 0:55 and 2:20) (at 1.00) (Not sure it's the exact same though, tell me please)Thanks in advance !
