Members PhilMoufarrege
Hi all. I am new here and thought what better way to introduce myself than to put up a cover I did a while back. My voice is a little too forward in this (partly due to bad EQ job lol) and I wasn't fully releasing as much as I wanted on some of the notes but other than that I think I did a pretty good job. I was trying to sing this a little lighter mass like Steve Perry did in the first half, then I wanted to up the intensity and get a bit more belty in it for the second half. If I was to do this again, I would narrow my vowels a little more and shift my resonance better on the sustained notes. Alright enough excuses! Will be posting more tunes later! Hope you enjoy. Members cirecovers
Hi Phil First of all, welcome here ! Indeed, a nice job. I don't find myself competent enough to speak technically about it but it all sounds very good to me. I hope you'll have a great time wandering around the forum. Members tjw101
Great Singing Phil! Nice job hitting those high notes, great tone and power :-) Really strong pitch control in the held notes too. Can I ask if you used any pitch fix in post-production? Or did you get that perfect pitch hold naturally? Overall, a great sound. Thanks for posting.
Members bitsofsong
Hi Phil, I'm new myself, and this forum seems great! As does your cover! Your voice is strong and your technique is impressive. I enjoyed how you performed it also, instead of just standing there singing.

Members SpamBot
To much tension in the larynx, and if you learn to control it and relax, this song will sound much more fluid even when you belt.
