Members djszkoda
Looking for a decent condenser mic for male vocals.. not sure what to get, honestly. I've heard good things about the EV Cardinal, and my local store has it on sale. Any other suggestions, feel free to let me know. I have not a clue what to get, haha. Members MetalJon
Can you spare another $30? If so, consider an NT-1. Otherwise, how about a Beta 58?
Members Kingdomheights
EV ND967 is the most incredible mic!!!!
Members critterschism
Why are you talking about your ND967? Those are 700 dollars -- say something relevant or don't say anything. I've heard the AKG Perception 200 is pretty good and you can get one used on eBay for like 70-100 bucks.

Post up a clip of your voice, it might help:thu: For starters:MXL V69Mogami edition:Tube Mic, replace the tube, get even more warmth, smooth high end...Used: Can be had for $150-ish (or less) YMMV:idea: Ask your local store to try it out!Rhode (those Aussies) make nice mics, but the NT-1 in my experience washarsh in the end. -Corrective EQ would fix this.
