Does any one know about good Mac or PC alternatives for AudioSculpt?
Please answer only if you know what I'm talking about! Thank you... :thu:

    Why not just get Audiosculpt?

I don't know of anything that does FFT/resynthesis in the same way but you could check out Tom Erbe's Soundhack, it's free and doess FFT/convolution plus a bunch of stuff, doesn't have the fancy GUI though.

Because i've found a lot of bugs in AudioSculpt, and I would like to get a better one...

You might check out the delaydots stuff - they have some pretty nice FFT/phase vocoding type FX.

I'd also say Metasynth for visual editing of audio material - though that may not be the effect you're after.

No, I just want a good AudioSculp alternative, another application for audio analysis, editing and synthesis... I've found SPEAR, but the spectrogram is not very precise...

Did you found a alternative soft for audiosculpt ? I search a soft on pc cause i don't have a mac who can give me report about notes (and quarter notes and more) on sound files.

Since I've started using Max 5 I don't need anything else

I've heard Audiosculpt has less bugs, but for what I need right now, Audiosculp is no good for me.

              Cheers!
