  • It's that time of year! Mac rumours for January Keynote.

There's been rumours floating about that they're introducing the first Intel CPU loaded Macs this coming January, especially on the low priced Mac mini and iBook ranges. Any got some juicy rumours going?

Well if what Jobs said last time was true, then yes. New Intel Macs are supposed to be shipping.

Probably a laptop of some sort, and a new Mac mini.

Don't look for high end hardware to switch yet.

And you'll probably have to wait for 10.5 to see any real coolness from the Intel chips.

That's all i've heard. I wonder how the new books will work out? I have been in the market for one for ages but never seem to talk myself in to an iBook whilst the PB's are around. The iBooks are really quite sorted these days though so pending January, i might get stuck in to one..

here's some rumors/predictions for the event from ehmac.ca:

          http://www.ehmac.ca/showthread.php?t=35104&highlight=macworld

it's a great site for Mac enthusiasts but you will notice a certain Canadian slant on things...

my prediction is new ibook's that will compete with the rest of the market price wise...
