  • live guitar/synth into Powerbook newbie questions

    hullo,

    i have a 12" Powerbook G4 w/ 1GB RAM in it...
i'm looking for software similar to GuitarRig
to process my guitar's signal LIVE & create some really oddball synthesis & effects...
is there any free or somewhat cheap (100-200 bucks) that can help me do this?

do any of you guys use your powerbooks for this ? any tips/ideas ?

I posted this yesterday in another thread.

Slayer is a very inexpensive Guitar modeling plugin. You can get some pretty wacky sounds out of it too.
