  • Help! Problems with Cubase and MOTU 828!!

I running Cubase SE 3 on a new iMac G5 2.1. Just installed the firewire interface, but can't seem to get Cubase to register an audio signal. I have the MOTU set as primary ASIO driver, as well as default input and outputs. So when I open a new audio track, the MOTU is loaded in both the input and output, suggesting that all is right with the world. However, Cubase is receiving no audio signal from this setup.

I have checked all fader settings, and they are fine.

Can anyone help me? I am pulling my hair out!

Are you running Tiger? If so, have you downloaded the latest driver for the 828 from MOTU?

Thanks Bowman. I figured it out this morning. I didn't realise that Cubase considers the MOTU's 2 mic pres as Inputs 1 and 2, and the MOTU's Inputs 1-8 as 3-10.
