Members Rowka
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This week the concert band I play bari sax in is performing "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch" which features the "Great Big Electrowhocardioflook" or any other low instrument soloist. I get to play the "Great Big Electrowhocardioflook" part (the melody) as an accompanied soloist on the bari. At the end I get an actual solo cadenza. I've been asked to go off and have fun with it. It was suggested that I mix in some Christmas themes, but since the concert is a week before Halloween, I thought some maybe something else would be appropriate. I'm thinking a few bits of recognizable Halloween songs would be cool, then I realized I don't know any Halloween songs other than maybe Monster Mash. Anyone have any suggestions? In case anyone is interested, it's the Baxter Publishing arrangement.
