I still dig the crap out of Little Fighter. The solo knocks me out. Not a huge fan of the Lion otherwise, though.

Somewhat sucky band, great guitar player. His solos were sometimes out of this world, but the whole thing really sucked at other times. (See their cover of Radar Love)

I have to admit... I loved White Lion. The rest of the band wasnt anythig special, but Vito was the man. I read an interview once where he said he wrote all of the songs fingerpicking. He'd write the bass part o the low strings, the vocal melody on the high strings, and the chords in the middle part... Once he wrote it all, he'd assign everyone their parts, and flush out the guitar parts.

Pride was definitely my fave album. Ya gotta love the solo on "When The Children Cry". I mean...it just fits so well. I was a big fan when White Lion was popular. Seems he's in the 'where are they now' bin.....

Vito rules! I put him in the same group as Nuno. Great players in cheesy bands.

He was doing some wide streches and something poped
in his hand, and I don't think he ever recovered.

                    i love his playing

he's one of my favorites. great note choices, perfect delivery. its too bad people always think he's an EVH clone......he's got his own thing going on - and alot of people won't give any band from that era a chance, but they are missing some great stuff.

I couldn't have said it better....he's really the ****************...and I dont think there was a more interesting player in the late 80s.

I miss his playing terribly. I'd buy an album of Vito Bratta polkas..

                              Yeah, that solo is beautiful.
