So, I can't save the file as a .gpt because it's a zipped file. So is there another way I can save this file as a .gpt?

I hope that clears it up and I can get an answer.

Couldn't tell ya man. Have you tried the Line6 Forums? They're not the quickest bunch (the speed of that forum is real slow compared to this one) but they're very helpful.

I use my PODxt out of keyboard amps sometimes and get decent results. My best results, of course, are running into my Duoverb's poweramp and out of two 2x12 cabinets. Great sound.

I just exchanged the broken pod I bought the other day for one that works. Yay! It's pretty damn cool. I really like one of the 'brit' amps. It's got kind of a cool squishy sound to it.

I'd probably get a Line 6 cab 'cause they tend to be a bit more neutral than some others. And I'd also use a clean power amp, like a monitor or a PA amp, so it doesn't add any coloration to the signal.

I got the regular PODxt a couple weeks ago and got the upgrades. No model packs yet though. I'm happy with what's in it so far. If I find I can't do something that one of the model packs might help with, then maybe I'll get one.

I haven't recorded anything yet, but I'll be interested to see how it stacks up recorded to my J-Station. I think I'll end up getting rid of the J-Station, but the only thing holding me back is that it has bass amp models and have no other way currently to direct record bass. What do you guys usually use?

There's a Marshall Bass amp on one of the model packs for XT. I haven't tried it with my bass yet, I use my gf's Bass Vamp for that.

Count me in. I have an XT with all the fixins. I love all the model packs. I use the model pack models even more than the regular models, I think they are a real improvement and are the most accurate sounding models of the bunch. I use Audio-Technica 30 headphones which were about $80 off MF. They do the job very well
