I have heard of them, but have not heard the music.

All that stuff is evil: Ozzy, Judas Priest. There's backwards messages in that stuff that leads you to the Beast.

Ulver is the ****************ing ****************. Their whole catalogue kicks ass. The acoustic albums, Nattens Madrigal, Themes.., Perdition City, hell check out everything by them.

Woods of Ypres and Agalloch are ****************ing great if you haven't heard them.

I always heard rave reviews about a band called Weakling, who put out like one demo. I heard it and wasnt very impressed, although I didnt give it a fair listen.

Definitely check out Woods of Ypres, Agalloch, and Diabolical Masquerade.

Dissection and burzum really appealed to me. even though I'm not a massive fan of the genre. Lots of talent

Anyone ever notice the start of "For to End Yet Again" by Arcturus sounds much like the music in the PC game Escape from Monkey Island?

                  Not a bad thing though.

The start of that song is really cool, but the song drags on for too long afterwards.

Yeah, but Hellhammer makes up for it with the best ****************ing drumbeat ever.

                          It sounds almost Caribbean.

Around 6:25. You'll know it when you hear it.

It's nice, but not that good.

Maybe not, but the cymbal work makes my pants feel tight.
