  • Got that LP Studio Light Burst today! Review...

Got this thing from Music123 for $999 while it was on sale. It's $1269 now.

    I really like it.

Finish: Light Burst. VERY COOL finish. It makes the guitar look more classy and aged. It's the only finish on a studio that impresses me. I actually dig the plain wood too.

Sound: Sounds just like it's supposed to.

Fit and finish: Very good. I can't find a flaw. Neck is straight and there are no flaws, even after inspecting it in brght sunlight. The frets are dressed well and though they aren't totally smooth at the ends, there is no real ?"overhang".

    Neck: Fat 50's. Perfect.

Body: SOLID. Unlike the Standards. I hate "tone chambers".

I like it. I'm selling my 1998 Les Paul Special SL Humbucker to recoup part of the expense. It's been my rehearsal guitar and my recording guitar for years. It sounds and plays like a dream. I just can't keep this many (12 now) guitars.

    This is a winner.

I really wanted to piss on your Gibson Parade but I just couldn't do it.

Glad you dig the guitar man.

Congrats man! It's really nice... and don't you love it when you got a good deal on something? It helps lower the guilt, that's for sure!

So it's mahogany with a maple top? And with no binding, correct?
