          As much as I respect him and like the solo, it was out of place. If I'm not mistaken that was the induction of George Harrison into the RRHoF.

          Just my 2 cents.

              +1, I prefer the other guy's solo in the song and am a big Prince fan.

                While it is out of place, I still like that solo alot. The performance is absolutely coma-inducing until Prince comes in and breathes some life into it. Also, it always bothers me a bit when a band has 2+ times as many people on stage as are actually performing. It just detracts from the actual performance to have a bunch of people miming the song on stage.

                  OK, I didn't remember that being the case. If so, I retract my statement. Still a little over the top for the song though. IMHO
