      forward motion baby

      you're right on both counts

he had control of the ball the whole time.

On the first down.......the spot prior was wrong......then on the play......the ball got knocked out of the guys hands before he recovered it on or about his midsection......which is then where the ball should have been spoted........clearly short of the first down........

It was less obvious with the catch/trap......probably could go either way.....but for THREE extremely tough calls to go against the same team in about a 60 second period of time........seems a little odd to me. No way in a million years was that pass interference.

I'm from Chicago and I am supposed to hate the Vikings and Brett.....but I gotta say that I don't beleive the Saints to be a very classy team.........hard nosed football is fine......trying to knock a quarterback out of the game, especially with late hits, hits to the chin, and combo high low hits is just plain cheap and dirty and classless.

Sooner or later this will come back to haunt them and Drew.........Did the refs cost the Vikings the game....no its likely that turnovers did........but at the end......when they had a chance...they sure gave the Saints a home field advantage and I can't help but think how badly the league wanted to "help" out New Orleans......like the city needed this or something.......

I hate the Colts but I will sure be pulling for them.

I sure would have like to seen Farve run as far as he could have and a long field goal attempt would have been nice.......either way.....I hate to see a guy who is as good a football player as Brett Farve go down like that with a pick. (PS....receiver should have really been fighting BACK to the ball and to the SIDELINE Brett rolled to)........but he should have run.....although as beat up as he was, you kinda understand why he didn't.........he tried to force one to many passes.............

John Elway is the correct answer to just about every question.

The man is ****************ing heavyweight. He is getting his **************** kicked out of him every series, smiles and comes back for more

          Toughest QB ever.

It's his fault they lost the game but I'm cool with that because I hate the ****************ing Vikings and I hate Brett Favre.

I was pulling for the Vikings b/c Favre is tougher than a 50 cent steak and Sidney Rice is the man. Props to the Saints and the ref crew though. 11 vs. 17 is a tall order.

I recall 2 or 3 calls against the Saints that were questionable. It is part of the game. I guess Haters got to Hate.

I had a good time at the game and afterward partying in the Big Sleazy.

The running backs coughing up the ball didn't contribute to the loss?

I mean, Favre shouldn't have thrown the pass at the end, but if it weren't for the fumbles, the Vikes would have had a comfortable lead.

Of course it factored in but if you throw a pick inside the 10 with time running out in a tie game you blew the game.

I'm happy, Favre will retire for good this year so I never have to see him again and the Viking will return to the land of suck because even though they have all those weapons they won't have a QB.

I was amazed at how everyone stayed, even after the trophy went around. (Saw it on TV)

                      Great game.

I respect him as a player, but seeing him cry after the Saints won brought out an evil grin in me.

He cries after every game he loses. He's a crybaby, I bet he wears Viking diapers under his uniform during the games.

I did not see him cry, but I have no problem with that.

After the last game of my son's HS season, every senior on the team cried like babies - and they won. I almost literally had to escort my son off the field, he did not want to let go.
