        Ha! Likewise.

        Every Christmas I'm like "I'm getting a leg of ****************ing lamb next year."
        Fast, clean and cheap.

          Cottage Cheese

          It's actually pretty good, but not usually the kind of thing that I find myself wanting to eat.

                Every now and then we get some cauliflower, and I'll cook it with potatoes spiced with onion seeds, dried red chillies and mustard seeds..delicious, delicious.....and then forget all about it next time we're veg shopping.

                    seriously? columbus seems almost hip-ish, for a midwestern city that's not chicago.

                      We don't eat meat, but assuming you're using "turkey dinner" to refer to the actual bird as well as the associated holiday feast surrounding it, in our household we've given ourselves permission to have several extra Thanksgiving/Christmas-style feasts after the holidays. Stuff like stuffing and cran sauce and mashed yams is too good to only hav once or twice a year.

                        Chili. I love chili but for some reason I only have it like ... twice a year.

                        Roast lamb. Same .. twice a year.

                        Other food I really like but don't have very often are;

                        Cottage cheese
                        Strawberries (fresh)
                        Fish ... any kind but particularly salmon and trout
                        Red wine
