Tasty! But The Odyssey doesn't have any holes in it

I like Michael Romeo a lot, he's got probably the the most efficient picking technique I've seen. Never really got into the music though.

Amazing album, their best along with The Divine Wings of Tragedy. Great songs, great performances, and I honestly think the title track is their best epic so far.

I think their latest album, Iconoclast, is now my favorite.

I didn't like them at first. Too DT ish I thought. But I gave em a second chance after the Adrenalin Mob cd, which I couldn't help but like. I know I shouldn't, but I just did. And the Paradise Lost disc got me. Any band that bases an album on a Milton poem can't be all bad. Shred boy is cool but the Dio on steroids vocals are what really pulled me in.

But to the OP, I didn't like the Odyssey as much. And Iconoclast is IMHO, better than all previous.

A band which I theoretically should like, but for some reason just can't get into. Songs just don't click for me.

I figured you'd at least like their long songs, The Divine Wings Of Tragedy, Through The Looking Glass, and The Odyssey
