Great pics. You're right, it does look like summer.

I had a great experience in Spain as well. Hope to return someday.

Yeah that was definitely one of the more depressing aspects of the trip, I went there with a couple of Spanish girls and learning about the difficulty their families are going through is pretty tough to hear. Not good by any stretch of the imagination.

Yeah it doesn't seem quite as dire as in Greece right now but there was quite a large protest in Madrid today and things are sort of heating up.

I heard unemployment in the key 18-45 demographic is near 20% or something dire. Mojo sent...

I used to spend my summers working in Pau... I would drive across the Pyrenees almost every weekend.

I love Spain, I go there every year, sometimes several times a year. Never been to Bilbao though, I usually go somewhere in Andalucia.

I was in Madrid last Spring, and saw some of the protests there. They were still quite civilised, but I understand that now things are really heating up, and that riots are getting more common.

San Sebastian is one of the best places I've ever been to. The old town is gorgeous. Vibrant city and a great beach with some decent surfing. Great food to be had at the ridiculous amount of pintxos bars.

                          Great nightlife too.

San Sebastian is possibly one of the nicest places in Spain. And the basque cuisine is sublime... the food anywhere in the North of Spain is just ridiculously good.
