Bing also has an API for ads. Don't know which one is "better". In general, I think MSFT has better object models for its API compared to Google. I recently hooked up the Bing image search API and found it to be trivially easy with much better JSON support compared to the Google image search API.
But these are only anecdotes. Try 'em both and go with the one that has the best mix of monetization and ease of use/implementation.

Is it an option to forgo all click ads and sell ads yourself?
Maybe, the problem is that for now the website is almost unknown and no one will want to pay to appear in an almost unknown website...
The website will have thousands of visits from march, i hope. I am doing everything possible to make it real.
Also I need ads that work for all the world, because the website is intended to be worlwide, cosmopolitan. So if I sell the space, the buyer ought be a world wide company that focuses on the kind of public. Pretty difficult to find a buyer like that.
