Do You Know The Way To San Jose

The tab at ultimate guitar looks pretty accurate:

    http://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/d/dionne_warwick/do_you_know_the_way_to_san_jose_crd.htm

This guys fingerings are easy to follow and he does a decent job (although he dumbs down the harmony in several places):

I'm playing something closer to what this guy is doing:

and of course, the classic Dionne Warwick original. The melody line sounds enticing, but follow Dionne (and the horn section) at your own peril.

How are you handling all the backing vocals?

Thanks. Are you on an iPhone? I don't see a quote button either.

reading the thread title, I though you were learning a thrash version of the theme to "The Blob", also a Bacharach composition.

(actually, Bacharach and Mack David wrote the song, Mack being the brother of Hal David and absolutely no relation to Larry David.)
