They came out great. I went with all unbleached flour, butter for oil, and white for brown sugar. I made them the night before. I sampled the batter in the morning and the zest was overpowering. I added more sugar, a touch of vanilla and some nutmeg.
It was delicious. Even GF, who looked at the recipe and disapproved said it was delicous.
