    I adore it.  I believe one of the keys to his sound then (this also applies to Gilmour in that day) is the fact that the echo is in front of the dirty amp.  Makes a great schmear that's been rattling around in my brain since 1976, courtesy of my beloved $9.99 Koss headphones.

      Ah, cool, I didn't know that. I love how fat, warm and gnarly his sound is on that album. It sounds like a Marshall about to die which is the best sound ever for me.
