                          lucy used to be on when i was a kid around the 70s at about 5:30 each nite, i hated it. tv was terrible when i was growning up, we only had 3 channels and it finished at about 11pm every nite with the playing of the national anthem "snow drops and daffodils"

                            But, "I Love Lucy" invented every conceivable plot ever to be used on any TV show
                            since, including and especially "Star Trek".

                              AH, but in the 70's that was "Here's Lucy".


                              You needed to see the 50's version, "I Love Lucy", to get the full effect.
